Indoor Cross Country Training
Sunday 13th November 2011 from 1pm until 4pm
At Kingsbarn Equestrian Centre, Wester Shieldhill, Falkirk, FK1 3AT
Scottish Tetrathlon appreciates that cross-country courses are becoming ever more technical.
To help prepare for next season, training has been arranged with well known eventing
instructors Sarah and James Oakden. Lessons will be in similar ability groups of approximately
4 to 6 children and take the format of – “show jumping for cross-country” or “arena eventing”,
concentrating on the technical aspects and be beneficial for those currently or wishing to jump
90cm and over in 2012. Anyone wishing to jump 2ft 6” / Minis / or younger siblings please apply
and lessons will be arranged subject to numbers.
This is a pilot training session, subsidised by Scottish Tetrathlon. It is hoped subject to demand
to roll out these training sessions out at different locations into 2012. Cost will be £20.00 per
child per hour lesson, payable by cheque to Scottish Tetrathlon. Please complete the following

International Tetrathlon Team 2011
Kirsty Liddon represented Pony Club at GB level in this years International competition against 'the rest of the World'. The competitions were run along side the UK Regionals ,the Irish Championships at Tatterstalls in Dublin, and at Hartpury coinciding with the UK Championships The Competitions were run over three successive weekends and invloved 1400 miles in a horse lorry, two ferries, a blow out on the M4, hard competition and a lot of fun.
